aesthetically pleasing, however whatever algorithm they’re using to shuffle / deal the cards needs to be revisited. like others have said most of the hands that are dealt are unsolvable.

Very nice and simple Solitaire game. Works perfect… I love it!!
This developer makes AWSOME games as I have on my ipad and iPhone. You can not go wrong with any of these games. Graphics are very good and easy to play.
Good way to wake up in the morning and get your mind working.
Love the game, easy to play and fun. Wish there was an ongoing scores.
It doesnt keep an ongoing score, and it was impossible to win!
When using a custom card-back, the picture doesnt crop correctly. The oversized picture exceeds the boundaries of the deck border. Other than that, Im satisfied with this app. Everything I want from a solitaire app: sleek and clean design, crisp cards, and simple interface.
I love the game but it consistantly makes my macbook pro crash. Had to take it off my computer…Please address this issue, I really like the game.
This game is programmed to make you lose. I played it 97 times and won only 6 times. Updated: December 17, 2013: Played this game 160 times and won only 14 games. I don’t mind a challenge, but something is definitely wrong with these kind of stats. I am losing interest in a game that I am destined to lose this often.
This is one of the better solitaire games. Works well on the Mac and the iPad.
This game is slow and lumbering. It is not nearly as strong as the microsoft PC version. I am actually quite disappointed in many Mac applications. This is one of them.
I like this game. Fun to play and I win enough to keep me addicted. Ongoing scores would be nice.
I play Branium Solitaire all the time on my iPhone. It is challenging, but you do win frequently. Not so with this game. Very frustrating.
The game looks good and plays pretty well, but not nearly as well as the Windows product. There is a major flaw in the initial deal — it is not random. Over time the cards that are dealt are relatively low - lots of twos and threes and few face cards come up. That’s what makes it frustrating.
Cards are stacked against you in this game, games are unwinnable a frustrating amount of time. Looks nice, but doesn’t work properly as other reviews state
I was looking for something to replace the old windows solitaire, and this fits the bill. It works just like the old game, but it crashed when I clicked on the auto finish button. Fix that, and maybe the rendering of the card faces, and I’d give it a 5. But because of the crash, I can only give a 3.
This game is gorgeous and the controls are intuitive and pleasant! I have it for iPad and really enjoy playing it. Long time solitairer/nertz|pounce player and simply put, I just don’t lose this often. Pretty games only go so far!
love it
I’ve been using this app pretty much daily for a very long time. Wonderful! Always there, always works. Like a reliable pair of your favorite shoes. If one all apps could be so dependable.
When I’m making a phone call and I know I’m likely to be on hold while bad music plays through awful speakers I always open a solitaire game. I noticed with this specific solitaire game that if I win a game, the next 3 games are impossible to win - the cards I need to complete that game just can’t be uncovered. I’ve found a work-around to defeat this annoying glitch in the program. When I’ve won and the cards are slowly rolling over on to the deck I wait with my cursor poised over the “new game” icon and as soon as the row of 10’s begins to move I click that new game icon. Usually this disrupts the shuffling algorythm enough to make a new game that I can win. Then I just minimize the game until I want to play again. If it doesn’t work, which does happen sometimes, I can usually get a winnable game after a few tries. Strategy hint: I never put the first of 2 cards that can go to a place on a stack unless I’m sure the one other card that could go there is not in play. In other words if I draw a 6 of hearts that could go on a black seven I won’t use it until I’ve completed checking all the cards available to play to be sure there’s also a 6 of diamonds I could use - it’s a way to avoid “shooting myself in the foot” by reducing the risk that I’ll make it impossible to play a covered card when/if I do uncover it.
